BUMPDATE: 22 WEEKS

Well hello again. Been a while since I posted last, and a lot has happened since then. The biggest (and most noticeable) change is that I am pregnant! So I am back for my weekly bumpdates. I absolutely love looking back at my weekly posts from Calvin's pregnancy, so I knew I wanted to document my growth and changes with every pregnancy.

How far along are you? 22 weeks.

Due date: June 22nd

Weight gain: About a year ago I got rid of our scale for my well being, but I did weigh myself a couple weeks ago and it was only about 7 pounds, so fingers crossed I continue to gain slowly this time around. But overall I am not keeping track.

Sleep: Really rough. Last night was the first decent night's sleep I've had in months (thank you Melatonin). For most of this pregnancy, I've been waking up multiple times a night for no reason. And what makes it worse is how it affects my mood. Since I have a toddler to entertain and take care of this time around, my lack of sleep has taken quite the toll on my patience. Thank goodness Calvin is quick to forgive, because I've let my temper get the best of me recently.

Movement: Oh yes. I feel the first flutter on January 13th, Alex felt the first kick on the 31st, and the past week movements have become more regular and intense.

Food cravings: Caesar salad. Can't get enough of the stuff. My appetite hasn't been nearly as intense with this pregnancy, and I've been a lot better at not over eating, or eating until I'm sick.

Favourite moments: Calvin is still a bit clueless to everything that is going on, but now and again he will kiss my belly. It melts my heart every time.

Happy or moody? Moody. Definitely moody. But a lot of that has to do with the lack of sleep I've had over the past couple of months.

Looking forward to: Finding out the sex on Friday. It's been a rollercoaster of a ride trying to find out. Long story short, we had an ultrasound 2 weeks ago, but the clinic's policy is to not verbally tell the fetal sex. But they also didn't add it to the report, meaning we had to book another ultrasound at a different clinic. This momma was ticked, but luckily we are going to a clinic that is much more accommodating this time around.
