Chapter 671

I'm not even going to try and deny it.
I like makeup.
A lot.
But recently I have become more and more in love with makeup brushes.
I already had a little holder from PB barn, but it became too crammed.
So I had to buy something else.
I found this little gem at Ikea, and hey, it was only $3!!!

Chapter 670

A weekend I will never forget,
in a place I will always remember.

Chapter 669

We're officially neighbours.
So happy that he now lives down the street, as opposed to across town.
And in a little over 2 months we'll be roommates.
And by roommates, I mean married.
Cool beans.
I love you more than most.

Chapter 668

A Midweek List

> Had an amazing interview at The Body Shop. I feel really good about it!
> Starting to pack for this weekend.
> Bought more items at Ikea. Their artwork is absolutely beautiful!
> Listening to Reba on repeat. Oh 90s country music. How you melt my heart.
> Finally bought some solid belts. Sick and tired of my belts busting on me in the middle of a shift.
> Watched Catch Me if You Can last night. Oh Leonardo Dicaprio, you were the cutest little child.
> Watched this trailer. Oh man. It's go time.

Chapter 667

I've always had a love for old mason jars.
There's just something so simple yet beautiful about them.
A lady from my church gave me a box full of them.
Big, small, you name it.
Can't wait to use these for the reception, and then to hold goodies in our apartment.

Chapter 666

Today I have an interview at The Body Shop.
This job would literally be perfect for me.
Fingers crossed

Chapter 665

Norah Borah.
You just melt my heart.

I miss your cheeky little face.
It's pretty pathetic, I know.
I haven't seen her for 2 days, and I'm going through "Norah withdrawal"

Chapter 664

I've been tagged by the beautiful Amanda to do the 5 questions video :)
Before you watch it, head on over to Amanda's blog.
She is an absolute gem!

Chapter 663

Hanging out with Jenn is always the best.
But macarons and fro-yos makes it perfect.
The market during spring is my favourite place to be in Ottawa.
I could spend hours walking around, eating at the cutest places, and smelling around Lush.
I love this girl, and it was such a splendid day.

Chapter 662

A Midweek List

> Feeling like spring once again. No more jackets.
> Trying to use social media and the internet less and less. It feels so freeing!
> Being completely wrapped up in a book. I love not wanting to put a book down.
> Falling back in love with Switchfoot. Reminds me of my elementary/high school days
> Got a phone call from Beacon Place. Alex and I officially have a 2 bedroom apartment to call home.
> Rehearsing, rehearsing, rehearsing. Getting a small taste of what it is like to be on Broadway.
> Waking up feeling alive. Have I told you all how much I love spring?!

Chapter 661

I don't think you want to know how many times I've watched this trailer since Monday.
It's embarrassing.
Actually no it's not.
Because it's Hunger Games, and anything related is worth being repeated.
And repeated.

And repeated

Chapter 660

For someone that doesn't cook,
I seem to be accumulating quite a few cute little kitchen things.
As much as I love grey, black and white, I want my kitchen to have pops of colour!

Not long now.
I just want to have our own place and make blanket forts in the living room.
Because we can.

Chapter 659

There is nothing more sweet than going to your friends wedding shower.
I love how we are both going through this exciting time together.

I grew up with her fiance, Dave, and have become rather close with him over the past 5 years.
I love that Dave and Catherine met at her first youth conference.
How Dave was smitten with her ever since the beginning.
And now they are getting married!

Couldn't be happier for them.
Such a perfect match!

Chapter 658

Today I realized I never shared with you the "how we met, and came to be" story.
So bear with me.
It's kind of long, and kind of creepy on my part.
But at the same time, it's a pretty awesome story.

August 2012

Jenn sends me a Facebook message:
"Oh hey, gurl, heyyy. One of Jonan's friends is moving into the ward. Cutie from what I can tell... RM ;)
May the odds be ever in your favour."
And of course, like any single lady would do I creeped his Facebook.

September 2012

I was determined to get out of my comfort zone this year.
No more waiting around for dates and being all annoying.
The first thing we ever said to each other was:
Me: "Wagner."
Alex: "What?"
Me: "My last name is Wagner"
Alex: "Oh right"
We were in the temple.
Cheesy, I know.
I just thought he was the cutest thing.

So I went for it.
I told my family that I was giving Alex 2 weeks.
If he didn't ask me on a date in that time, then I would ask him.
First we walked to institute every Wednesday and Friday from campus.
Day after day I waited for him to ask.
But when he didn't, I asked him for some beavertails on the market.
September 28th.
Our first date.

October 2012

Pretty much every week we had a date.
It was never awkward.
We never even really planned our dates.
Most of the time we just walked around the city and talked.
About everything.
I went to Utah.
I missed him.
He missed me.
We didn't tell each other until months later.

Alex gave a talk in church.
I knew then that he was the person Heavenly Father had just for me.

October 29th.
"The talk."
Over the phone.
Oh dear it was awkward.
But it needed to happen, so I initiated it.
Apparently he wanted to bring it up when we went to have frozen yogurts 2 days earlier, but chickened out.
We were now labeled.

November 2012

Both of us had never been in a legit relationship.
All of the boys I had dated in the past were long distance.
So that first month was weird.
We took things at an extremely slow pace.
Which we both liked.
He didn't put his arm around me until the end of the month.
We didn't hold hands until December.

December 2012

Exam time and Christmas break.
This was a big month for us.
Not only did we say "I love you" for the first time,
but I also went down to Winnipeg to meet Alex's family.
While I was there we had "the marriage talk".
This time Alex initiated it.
I could tell he was nervous.
Shaking like a leaf.
We both wanted it, but he hadn't got his answer yet.

January 2013

The first few weeks of January were a bit stressful.
I already got my answer about us, but Alex was still waiting.
I prayed and decided that I needed to drop my classes and save money.
But I felt like I was putting all my eggs into one basket.
Alex told me there was no need to worry and everything would work out with us.

January 19th
The very place where we had that first conversation, Alex proposed.
And we've been on cloud nine ever since.

Chapter 657

If you would have told me back in September
that I was going to marry that sweet boy who held my bag for me as we walked to church one Sunday,
I would have laughed in your face.
Well who'd have thought.
Ever since that very first walk, I have loved spending time with you.
Starting July 4th we will be able to walk for time and all eternity together.

And I couldn't be happier.

Chapter 656

Thank goodness I snapped these photos yesterday.
We got hit with a random snow storm today.
Had to bring out the snow boots again.
And yet just yesterday I was wearing oxfords with no socks.
Weather is such a woman.
Changing her mind all the time.

Chapter 655

Video tutorial round 2!

Chapter 654

A Midweek List

> Weeks should always start with Ikea dates.
> Filled out an application for an apartment (!!!!!!)
> Getting more and more excited for April 27th.
> Mom won our March Madness bracket pool (we will never hear the end of this)
> Helping Alex study French. Let's just say my French has gone down hill since graduating high school.
> Lunch with a bridesmaid.

Chapter 653

I found these adorable sunglasses at the thrift store about a month ago.
I can't wait for summer.
Fingers crossed Alex and I will be able to get a week off work to head down to Maine for a bit,
and I can rock these bad boys on the beach :)

Chapter 650

I invite you to come and listen to the prophet's voice this weekend.

Chapter 649

Last year Brigitte and I created a modest fashion blog called B and B.
We ended it back in September.
Too much going on in our lives.
But the thing is I still love fashion, and looking at other peoples outfits for inspiration.
So I thought that every Friday I would share an outfit with you.

I don't want this blog to be a full on fashion blog, because I prefer writing about everyday things.
But I still love fashion and want to show some of my outfits.
Also I'm linking up with Awkward Girls Rock Your Dots Challenge.

Chapter 648

Yesterday, my mom and I had a little shopping spree at Body Shop.
I officially have 6 of their body butters.
I think I need an intervention...
So today I smell like a mango.

Chapter 647

Finally my hair feels healthy again.
My hairdresser pretty much had a heart attack.
Gotta love her.

I wanted something different.
4 inches gone, and hello to a blunt cut!
And let me tell you, I am loving it.
