Ok so for about a year now I have been in love with this site, lookbook. I thought it was about time for me share some of my favourites looks. For those of you who don't know what site I am talking about, let me explain. Lookbook is a public website where everyday people post outfits from their closet for others to see. There are so many that have inspired me, and are just stunning. Here are my favourite looks:

Chapter 26

So last night I went to the most amazing concert I have ever been to!!!!!! I have been to Great Big Sea, Rascal Flatts, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley and Kenny Chesney. See my brother, Andrew, and I have this tradition of going to pretty much every country concert that comes to Ottawa. I wouldn't want to go with anyone else. He is my best friend, and no one is has hardcore country fans as us! ANYWAYS, last night was BY FAR the best one. And which concert was it....TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!!!! WOW it was so incredible!!! Usually I am not a fan of her voice live, from award shows, but she was soooo amazing!!!!!! I could have cried...well not actually that would be awkward! At every concert people sing along (obviously), but I have never heard EVERY SINGLE person in the audience sing along to every single one song! It was definitely memorable!
Ok let me start from the beginning of the concert. THE OPENING ACTS. First was one of my favourite groups, Gloriana. If you have not heard any of their songs, I HIGHLY recommend you look them up on YouTube. My brother and I were freaking out and singing along to all their songs, and standing/dancing. THEN some crabby old lady sitting behind was like: "Sit down, I can't see!" Ok two things wrong about this:
A) I am not going to sit down, it is a concert, that's what people do!
B) If you wanted to "see" and listen to them, stay home and watch some music
music videos of theirs for heaven sake!!!
We didn't want to cause any fuss, so we sat down, stupid women (I'm not bitter...) Then for their last song they played "Wild at Heart", and they told everyone to stand up. My brother turned around and was like: "They told us to!" HA!! I love him!! Later on in the night they did a signing and my bother and I were able to meet them...well not exactly MEET them but we got our CD signed and I had a "moment" with one of members Tom (if my marriage with Justin Bieber falls through, he is my back up) My brother said it wasn't a moment...BUT IT SOOOO WAS!! He was the last one at the table signing, all the other members (Rachel, Cheyenne and Mike) barely even looked at us, but Tom looked right at me and said: "We just LOVE you guys!!" He then locked eyes with me (as he is signing some chicks shirt) and says: "Aw thanks, it really means a lot!" It's official, he loves me!

Right after we took the picture, the security man glared at us and said: "NO PICTURES!" PFF, calm down buddy!

The second opening act was Kelly Pickler. My brother and I already saw her with Rascal Flatts, and she was kind of disappointing. Last time she was chatty and really cute, but this time she was just BLAH! She seemed totally distracted, as though she wanted to be somewhere else. I like some of her songs, but I just wanted to see Taylor!

I want her shoes!!!

THEN it was TAYLOR!!!! Oh my gosh my brother and I freaked out!!!!!! At one point in her performance, she went into the crowd and hugged people and took pictures with them. It was right where we were sitting for Rascal Flatts...that kind of bites! But I really shouldn't complain, our seats were INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!! SOO GOOD! I got some amazing shots of her!!

So I thought I would leave you with my favourite quote, and what a shocker it is by Taylor Swift!
"To me, “FEARLESS” is not the absence of fear. It’s not being completely unafraid. To me, FEARLESS is having fears. FEARLESS is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, FEARLESS is living in spite of those things that scare you to death. FEARLESS is falling madly in love again, even though you’ve been hurt before. FEARLESS is walking into your freshmen year of high school at fifteen. FEARLESS is getting back up and fighting for what you want over and over again… even though every time you’ve tried before, you’ve lost. It’s FEARLESS to have faith that someday things will change. FEARLESS is having the courage to say goodbye to someone who only hurts you, even if you can’t breathe without them. I think it’s FEARLESS to fall for your best friend, even though he’s in love with someone else. And when someone apologizes to you enough times for things they’ll never stop doing, I think it’s FEARLESS to stop believing them. It’s FEARLESS to say “you’re NOT sorry”, and walk away. I think loving someone despite what people think is FEARLESS. I think allowing yourself to cry on the bathroom floor is FEARLESS. Letting go is FEARLESS. Then, moving on and being alright…That’sFEARLESS too. But no matter what love throws at you, you have to believe in it. You have to believe in love stories and prince charmings and happily ever after. That’s why I write these songs. Because I think love is FEARLESS."

Come back next tour Taylor! <3

Chapter 25

Whoa it has been a while! Pretty much my entire week has been uneventful. Work, work, work, oh and guess what?? MORE WORK! All I need to remember is that I am getting my money for school...hopefully that will get me through. Fortunately I have an amazing manager who gives me two days off every week which is nice. So this week I got the entire weekend off :) What did I do you may ask? Well my best friend and I, Meana, went downtown and were tourists for a day! Meana has been my best friend since the first of high school back in the day. She has been a major support for me and is just amazing!! Here is the link to her blog, check it out!!
So we decided, since we were both saving/broke we walked along the canal, the market and Rideau mall. My debit card was crying out to me...but I was strong and didn't spend a SINGLE penny..ok that's a lie I did have to buy diner at Subway...but that does NOT count! Still it was very hard for me to walk past all the boutiques downtown that had AMAZING sunglasses (here's a little fact about me: my weakness is sunglasses, i am obsessed! I am talking RIDICULOUSLY obsessed!) Here are a few pictures we took:

Meana and I both decided that we are in love with this sidewalk painter. He is INSANE!!

Now although I did not buy anything, I will confess that last week I bought 2 more t-shirts (buy one get one free. Total was $15..how could I not buy them!) and a pair of horn-rimmed fake nerdy glasses for $7, but I actually did NEED the glasses. I am going to the Taylor Swift concert this Thursday with my brother and she wanted her fans to wear nerdy glasses for her song "You Belong With Me". So I did it strictly for Taylor. OK yes that may be an excuse, BUT it is a valid one! Since I am working 5 days again this week (SURPRISE!) I am not going to be able to post that much. BUT this weekend is going to be eventful! One of my closest friends from high school, who I haven't hung out with since Canada Day, asked me to go to the Tulip Festival downtown on Friday (for those of you who don't know what it is, don't worry I will explain in an upcoming post) Then on Sunday a friend from Montreal is coming down and staying until Monday! So until then I will not be posting anything.

Chapter 24

WOAH two posts in one day!!! HOLY MOLY!! I just wanted to show you all a blouse that I bought today for $15!!!!! Yeah I was pretty proud of myself for this purchase! Also my mom bought this purse a few weeks ago and wasn't too keen on it SO...she gave it to me. I absolutely LOVE the colour, so bright and fun. Let me know what you all think!

Chapter 23

A question that has gone through my head pretty much my entire has really started drive me insane: Why can't my life be a musical? Yeah go ahead laugh all you want, but honestly why can't it be? Could you imagine people randomly breaking out into song and dance while they are walking down the street? I mean every person would have a different song: whether it be happy, sad or just hilarious. It would be so amazing..well that's what I think. This question has been bugging me a lot more lately pretty much because there have been these youtube videos that have been circulating for the past months of people randomly singing dancing in very crowded places. I am hands down doing on at market downtown. So whoever lives in the downtown Ottawa area...BE WARNED!!

Ok yeah for sure doing this!!!!!

Chapter 22

So I have done something that I swore I would never do....join twitter!! WOO, honeslty never thought I would end up doing it, but whatever.
I just finished watching this week episode of Lost and OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!!! Most intense episode I have ever seen!!! The first half of the season was pretty terrible but the past few weeks have been absolutely amazing!! I keep saying that each episode can't get any better, but I have been proven wrong!
Here is the URL of a clip of this weeks episode "The Candidate". So intense, I bawled my eyes out:

Chapter 21

I'M HOME!!!! Without a doubt, I just spent the most amazingly relaxing weekend EVER!!! Nothing better than having no schedule and just tanning on the beach! Before I post my pictures I think I should first explain to you what being "tanned" is for me. OK so I am super faired/porcelain skinned so I never really go beautifully golden...instead I go lobster red which then shortly after fades to a tan. So don't judge my "lack of tan", which is present in these pictures. We stayed in the cutest bed and breakfast ever, The Billowhouse. It is right on the beach and we got to stay in the upstairs apartment that had a beautiful balcony that had an incredible view of the ocean.
OK let's have a little travelog of my trip to Ocean Park Maine....the most amazing place ever!!!

Day 1: driving through Vermont and New Hampshire...SNOW!!!!! Yeah what the heck??!!! As we were driving my entire family was freaking out, hoping that Maine wasn't going to be the same. We stayed the night in North Conway, in a ski lodge motel thingy, and shopped at the outlets a little bit the next morning.

Day 2: We arrive in Maine in the late afternoon and the weather is STUNNING....then it hales. Most random thing EVER!!!

Day 3: Pretty much just tanned and walked on the beach. Later in the day we went to the outlets in Freeport. And took some pictures at L.L. Bean (my best friend is obsessed with it)

Day 4: All day at the beach....SURPRISE!!! Here are pictures of the apartment:

Living room/my bedroom

Mom and Dad's room

Day 5: After church we went took some pictures at the train tracks and Biddeford Pool.

Day 5: Traveling home..stuck in Montreal for an hour and half. Stupid traffic. Most exhausting trip ever. It was an amazing trip but i just wanted to get home and sleep in my own bed.

Unfortunately because school fees are so gosh darn expensive, I barely spent any money. Kind of a bummer, but I need to save my money, even though it is painfully hard. So I got both Justin Bieber CDs (yes I know, I know..) a ridiculous alarm clock that is 50s themed and a really cute blouse from Target. (the one in the train track pictures) I wish that Canada had Target, their clothes are SO much better than Walmart and are designed by real designers...not Miley Cyrus *upchuck*
Sorry for the crapy webcam photos:

Sorry that this last post is kind of monstrous from all the photos, but hey that`s pretty much what I do in Maine. And for the heck of it, I am posting more pictures of the ocean!
